I applied for a credit card with the great promotion deal. The card was a travel one, and their deal was by far the best at the time I applied. All was good, and my credit score is excellent, so I expected to get approved in an instant. However, the approval process was taking far too long. For around a week they could not give me yes or no answer. When I at long last had become approved, they said my card was on my way. It took them a calendar month to get my card delivered. I had my first trip abroad planned for the end of last week, and was totally counting on using my new travel card to get rid of all fees associated with using a regular card. Disappointed.
