Lights burn out too fast

Bought Possini Euro New Orbit 23 3/4" Wide Chrome Ceiling Light. The first bulbs last maybe 2 yrs, but after that only 2 mths will pass by when bulbs start to burn out. I may sure I buy the type of bulb that are similar to the ones it came with. Please advise. Thanks User's recommendation: The bulbs can be pricey.
