Life time warranty on Black frame

Had my lane furniture since 2004 and is still in good shape except the lane recliner that just bit the dust..the metal bar that goes across from the handle to recline has broken completely into . Now there saying no warranty and no parts ?? User's recommendation: Stay away..the newer lane is junk.
