I have had the black cord jeans for about a year, but have only worn them about 12 times. I bent over to pick up something from the floor and the jeans just ripped along the cord line, adjacent the left hand rear pocket. I have been buying Levis for the past 50 years and have never experienced a failure like it. Fortunately I was in the house when this happened. It could have been very embarrassing had it happened at work or in the high st.!! I've had the occasional knee rip, normally on old jeans, but never anything like this. Clearly there must be an issue with the quality of the material for this to have happened and wish to know what Levi suggest.
