Left dying.

1

My mother have there for a appointment and with the pain she was in they kept her. The pain had been going on 2 or 3 wks. Very dehydrated and had not been able to eat hardly anything for 2 or 3 weeks. We knew the was a small mass on her kidney. In the prior 2 or 3 wks my mother who was a LVN thought she was having a gall bladder attack, which runs in my family. They soon found a small mass and they decided to keep her because of the uncontrollable pain, weakness, dehydration, and nausea. She was 73 yrs old just returned 2 from a Alaska Cruise for 3 wks where she no indication anything was wrong with her. So they admit her to the hospital and stayed about 3 days and they did a biopsy and discharged her. They told us it could take up to 7 days to get the results to know what kind of cancer and how to fight it. Mind you our mother 73 yrs old is discharged with no new meds. My sister picks her up stops on the way home to let her son have a potty break. My mom decidedthat was a good idea. My sister alomst had to call EMS because my mother didnt have the strength to get out of the bathroom and back into the truck but my sister somehow did it. At this time they had only left Scott and White about 1 hr ago. My sister drove as fast as she could safely to the closest hospital ER in Burnet, Tx. They admitted her in and started running tests quickly. I stayed with her all night. I waited on her hand and foot just like she did me when i was a baby. The next morning the Docor was making his rounds. He came in and ask a few normal questions. He said you know your dying right? We both looked eachother and looked back at him. He said it comes to quality or quantity. My mother ask him how long do i have? He said maybe 2 weeks. He said there wasnt alot they could do because it had spread everywhere. Mind you at this point24 hrs ago she was in Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Tx. Back to the story he said we should think about using Hospice and that they would give her pain meds because all the pain. There was so much pain. Follow me. Scott and White 1 hr. to Burnet. Admitted 24 hrs pass and my mother is at home with Hospice. Less than 16 hrs home she passes away. This picture was taken 4 weeks before her passing. Scott and White didnt care if she was in pain and they never told her she was dying. This isnt right to be treated and lied to.
