Leaking battery Again

1

I have written a number of times now on the issue of leaky batteries from Duracell. We had another issue over this past weekend with a AAA size that leaked on our thermostat. I was again able to clean up the leakage. Today though, I have to say I am extremely upset because when checking a clock that I had received at work for my years of service, that was not running, upon opening the back of the clock there is what I would term to be a massive leak, where there is a crust from the leak. Would love to send you a photo. The battery size this time was a C Cell. This clock has a lot of sentimental value to me and to have it messed up by Duracell really *** me off to no end. In the past, when we have complained, we have received a form letter and a coupon. I know very well how to care for batteries, and don’t need a lecture or instruction sheet on how to care for them or use them. What we need are batteries that do not leak.
