I have two credit cards issued with the same bank, with slightly different bonuses and benefits. One was a regular cash back card that I used for purchasing locally and which I admired a lot for its benefits in buying gas & groceries. Another credit card was tuned for travel and gave me numerous benefits when travelling globally. So far so good. Last December, I mailed my payments and did not know that post offices became unreliable timeframe-wise. My checks eventually arrived 2 weeks later due dates, and I was fined $50 for late payment. Considering the troubled times we are facing, other services never charged me a late fee. My bank did and now I consider changing my credit card provider for both of my cards.
