It was my first time going to the shopper at 9350 Yong street, Richmond Hill, ON The customer service experience was beyond disappointing. I had gone to purchase some things and was in a rush to head back home because my puppy was a bit ill. I asked the lady to check out my items, and she told me that I should use the self-checkout, and she refused to. Furthermore, I don't understand what are staff for at the store. It's very disappointing as she was like a zombie standing with zero customer service. I can't believe that I just experienced that. There was zero customer service at this specific shoppers. I'm not one to take the time to complain, but this was awful. I hope head office gets in touch with this branch and handles the situation to avoid any issues like this happening, specially if a customer asks to be check out. The least thing a customer expects while shopping is the basic service. User's recommendation: If you are one to care about service and being treated well then try to avoid using this branch.
