Been trying to get this loan for 3 months. I was told on a Friday that it was going to the underwriter on Monday and it would be 24-48 hours before we could schedule a closing date. Today is Thursday and we are no closer then we were on Monday. I asked what the hold up was told them other mortgage companies that were calling me said they could be done in 30 days. Was told I don’t have to do business with Freedom Mortgage if I didn’t wish to. I was told yesterday that they would be calling this morning. It’s 1:00 pm no call. If you want your loan done in a timely manner go elsewhere.
