My wife and I wanted a Suv that could preform like a sports car so we order a 2013 jeep srt8 in Aug of 2012 and was told months after around Jan 2013 that we were getting a 2014 srt jeep and that we were price protected by Chrysler and mike Doyle my dealer told us this verbal that Chrysler would do this. The jeep srt 2014 came in on a Friday ,the dealer said that Chrysler was not price protecting them any more and the dealer was asking us to pay $7100 more on the vehicle as the price went up ,we said no way and waited one week to get an answer from Chrysler on the price protection that the dealer told us months ago.We had to pay an extra $3500 to get our jeep srt as the dealer would of put it on the floor and sold it for retail price.I will be sending in both my contracts to Chrysler and ask for my $3500+tax back very soon.
