Jamie Lee and Jigsaw Wealth Management, Singapore

Update by user Mar 09, 2014 New link for this individual: http://www.globaleye.com/team/jamie-lee/ Original review posted by user Jun 15, 2012 I want to raise awareness about a so-called 'financial advisor' that used to be VP at a Singapore based company called Jigsaw Wealth Management (JWM). His name is Jamie Lee (http://www.globaleye.com/contact-us/south-east-asia/globaleye-malaysia/jamie-lee), and he is now a Director and VP at GlobalEye, Malaysia. Jigsaw Wealth Management is run by someone called Paul Jeffries. Whilst managing my finances at JWM, this Jamie Lee managed to fritter away my investment and basically lie to me in his update reports. He told me funds were sold when it later turned out they weren't. He told me funds were held when they weren't. He lied and provided misleading information on my bottom line, leading to a hefty surprise when I received a more accurate statement after he suddenly departed Jigsaw Wealth Management. He made no attempt to inform me about his departure, just left leaving me to discover my account was in disarray - what a professional! I suspect he made no attempt to liaise with the bank that was holding my funds. If he did, that makes matters worse because it means he knew the state of my account and withheld it from me anyway. He appears to have just sat there, become fat on my losses and fed me any old tripe just to keep me from pulling out my money. Complete incompetent or scam merchant, you decide. Just avoid this 'financial expert' like the plague. He has worked for Montpelier (Malaysia) and Jigsaw Wealth Management (Singapore). He now works as a Director and VP for a company called GlobalEye at their new Malaysian office (http://www.globaleye.com/contact-us/south-east-asia/globaleye-malaysia/jamie-lee). I can't speak of Globaleye as I personally have had no dealing with them, but the fact they would hire someone like Jamie Lee in itself speaks volumes to me. Incidentally, when I informed Paul Jeffries (principle at JWM) of what Jamie Lee had done with my account, his response was that my account's management had been 'less than satisfactory', and it was brushed aside as though I was just expected to accept it with no repercussions for their appalling financial service. I lost thousands through either employee incompetence or scam and it's shrugged off because these individuals just don't care as long as they get their money. During a recession one can expect to lose money, fair enough. However, the least I expect is to be kept properly informed about my investments. Jamie Lee and Jigsaw Wealth Management failed completely in that respect. My reason for posting this, as well as making public my grievance with Jamie Lee and his ilk, is to spread awareness. Avoid these companies like the plague people.
