There is definitely a pattern with the lack of consistency in regards to Island Trader Vacations communication and interpretation of the Membership Application. In 2014, we contacted the Outrigger Vacation Clubs representative noting we did not see the value in the membership fees in reference to the provided services such as a competitive advantage and choice of our desired locations. For example: Sections 20 ~ 23 list Condos, Rental Cars, Cruises, Golf Recreation/Skis, and Hotels/Motels with savings between 50% to 75% off. We used their service ONE-TIME. The representative reviewed our membership application and confirmed line item 8 If I do not pay my annual membership dues in a given year, all my travel services will be suspended until my dues are brought to a current status. This is consistent with the other complaints. We have not paid since; this was the last we heard of this until we recently received the final notice and threats of legal action. We have filed this on the BBB and have asked them to pinpoint the LEGAL OBLIGATION to pay the annual membership fees without using the service. User's recommendation: Stay away from this company and any companies related to them.
