I was asked by a shopee person whether I wanted the part time job from the company. Long story short, this part time job requires me to click *like* on certain products from the merchants and also do repurchasing commodity orders to receive my salary. Apparently, after making one small mistake (on the 2nd day of the job) in one of the repurchasing commodity orders, I was taken aback when I had to go through a series of hefty penalty in order to receive my salary and up to date... I still haven't receive my salary which consist of my life savings (consisting of more than RM8k) just to fulfill this stupid penalty which was not inform before even starting the job. There were no proper briefing or proper explanation on the part time job before starting the job. So my question is to clarify whether are Merchants in shopee allowed to ask part timers to repurchase their product to get more popular and visible in the market and is there such stupid penalties if a part timer makes a small mistake? If there are no such things, please know that there is a group of people using shopee's name to scam us. I would really appreciate if you could respond as soon as possible and help me with this matter. Thanks
