Incompetent customer service personal

I made reservation online to fly to Germany which was fine, then needed to book another one for a friend and here all the mess started, on their website it asked me what travel document my friend has "Swedish" but there were no option to choose more than US, so I called the customer service to complete reservation,,, and my God it was horrible wasted hours trying to fix this simple booking, then to make it worst they played like a bank trying to verify me the card holder, someone else came on line stating they are from my bank!! How do I know?? I told them I need to make 3 way call to my bank as I can't give my card information to a third party who says they are from Wells Fargo in todays fraud how you can trust something like that? Even the lady from "Wels Fargo" agreed with me and said I don't blame you. Anyway it was a long mess I ended up requesting to cancel my reservation, and that started another nightmare, I have to call 5 times and each time I have to wait between 15 to 25 minutes to speak to someone and they tell you OK we will cancel it, and they send me different email. Very bad customer service never will do business again, wasted the entire day talking to incompetentpeople.
