I originally purchased a one bedroom ILX Sedona AZ timeshare in 1999. The maintenance fee was $450 (every two years) for the biannual program. I upgraded to a penthouse at their San Carlos property in 2006, maintenance fee went to $750 every two years. After Diamond Resorts (Premiere Vacation) the maintenance fee escalated up to $ 1442.75 in 20016. I received a letter in April 2018 with a $2101.61 "delinquent amount". I never received the supposed first letter with the original amount. I called 702-684-**** to find out why the amount had gone up to this amount. I was told this amount included a 25% upcharge plus penalties. I am ready to get out. Has there been a class action suit started? The benefits are greatly reduced by Diamond, their benefits structure (what are points ?) is not very understandable and their maintenance fee is ridiculous. Are they signing up any new victims at this rate or just preying on previous ILX members?
