I leased a laptop a couple months back and was told when I bought it there was a 4 month courtesy plan if anything were to happen with my job. I had some issues and ended up having to quit , but there were no specifications of eligibility , there was never anything said about having to be fired nor was there anything in the paperwork I was given about having to be fired. All they said was that if anything happened I would be covered for 4 months or up to 1,000 dollars. I called claims and the woman told me that they shouldn't have told me that , so in other words they lied to me. She kept arguing with me and running her sentences in circles to the point to where I just gave up and hung up the phone. User's recommendation: Make sure they tell you the whole truth!
