I’ve been scammed and Vinted won’t help
I’ve been scammed and lost £110 and for some reason, Vinted are doing absolutely nothing about it. I’ve sent them so many screenshots of proof, whether it be regarding the dates of purchasing and the rubbish the seller claims, the fact that the seller is using a picture from Google so he’s fake himself... I’ve been going back and forth in circles with the team and they are so unreliable and now they’ve stopped responding to me completely. I’m trying to make other weary of this cunning scammer and have his account removed but Vinted are just sitting on their *** doing nothing about it. The only option I had left (because the seller blocked me) was to leave him a very negative review, warning others, and thus far I’ve had 4 other buyers message me based on this in the space of 5 days. Turns out he’s sending the same “proof of postage” pic to everyone! I also had another buyer tell me that he was flagged a few months ago for doing a PayPal scam. Why are Vinted allowing this “seller” to still be active?! I have 70 5 star reviews and he 1) has nothing in his wardrobe and 2) has only my negative 1 star review... who are people going to believe? I’ve never had any issues with Vinted in the past... until now. *** like that ruin the experience for the good people on the site. I am just completely dumbfounded at Vinted’s lack of care and concern for its customers.
