The company I contacted regarding my A/C issue ran a diagnostic and found my system was 5 pounds short on Freon, they charged the system with refrigerant and a dye kit to find the leak. The leak appeared in the evaporator coil. The following day they replaced the coil. this whole process cost me (out of pocket) around $1700.00. I want my money paid back to me by Rheem because the part was defective and failed RESPOSIBLE User's recommendation: Be very leary reagarding Rheem's evaporator coil issues.
