Ordered my perfume May 14th 2018 and paid around $70. It is June 9th and still have not received my order. I received one response to all my emails and they said they were sorry and that I would receive my order that week. No one answers the phone, but you'll get a recording saying to check back later. There is no voice recorder set up to leave a message either. If they aren't scamming people now, then their customer service department is on strike. I received an e-mail from Hott Perfume shortly after posting this review and they stated that the perfume I ordered last month is sold out. If they were out of the perfume, I would have preferred they not charge my card and contact me instead. However, they did offer me a refund or a comparable perfume/upgrade. 'Emporio She' is what I want and so I requested a refund. I received an Auto Response that they are on vacation until the 15th and so it looks like I will have to wait another five days before I'll receive a reply about their refund procedure. Sigh! Here it is the 17th of June without a followup response from them. It's been over 30 days since they took my $70 and I have no perfume, no refund and no customer service! 6/28/2018 - Sent a complaint to BBB on 6/10/2018 and they forwarded it to HottPerfume. They have 30 days to reply. Still no word from them, but I continue to get promotion emails from them. 7/16/2018 - The BBB sent me an email stating they tried on my behalf 2X to resolve my issue with HottPerfume.com, but they did not respond to them either. The BBB has closed my case as they are not an enforcement agency, but will add my complaint to the file. HottPerfume has not tried to contact me or respond to my emails either. I suppose I will have to dispute it on the credit card to get my money back. All I know is these companies take advantage of the luxury the law affords them to steal from people and not get arrested like common citizens do. People go to jail for stealing something far less of value at WalMart than the thieves that run HottPerfume.com. They bank on the fact that we won't take them to small claims court because that would actually cost more than the disputed amount.. May 2019 It is one year later and I'm still waiting for my perfume or the credit you owe me for the $70. I did call the police in your district and apparently, I have to take you to small claims court to get my money back and one year later your still in business stealing people's money. Can anyone explain how the police are serving and protecting all of us who get scammed on the internet when they can't do anything. But, if I were to get caught stealing from a WalMart, I would get arrested, pay fines, and have a permanent record etc.... Even the BBB can't do anything if they don't respond to their letter. So, they close the case and what good does that do me or the others who get their money stolen by companies like this everyday?
