I purchased a Hotel Collection comforter primarily because of the lifetime warranty advertised on both the Macy's website and product packaging itself. I initiated a warranty exchange at the store in Manhasset, NY and was told by the manager that I had to go to hotelcollection.com. this website is completely unrelated to the product I purchased. The manager blatantly lied to me and did not honor the warranty of a Macy's house brand. The comforter is defective and shedding feathers to an unreasonable degree after 3 years of use. The warranty should be honored rather than giving customers the run around.
