THG is a huge scam company. They did not deliver what they've promised in their contract! We bought tickets for the opening ceremony. The tickets were for the best seats in the stadium and for a premium hospitality. None of that was delivered. We arrived at the hospitality center. Very modest place and the service horrible. Just one option of food and drink. Like in the 2014 World Cup, they were involved in another scam. Meanwhile we were eating the poorly served dish, police officers came in and detained the THG employees. Some of the customers volunteered to go along with the police station in order to clarify their position and register a complaint. Final result? We missed almost all the opening ceremony. After all this, we managed to get some tickets from the Brazilian Olympic committee and ran to the stadium to watch the end of the opening ceremony. Needless to say that not just the service they provide is crap, but also that they don't even deliver the tickets they promise. In sum: - service is terrible (and this is true to all their events. All the events I've been they serve mediocre food in a mediocre venue they rent in the last minute) - food, drinks are below average - they sell you a 100-dollar ticket for 8, 000 dollars like they did for the opening ceremony in Rio - their contract is designed to fool you - tickets they sell are illegal and they are being sued again in Brazil for illegal sale of tickets (scalper activity and even the tickets themselves they probably buy from scalpers as well) Not just their CEO was put in jail, but many of their employees. If you are thinking of ever bugging their tickets, please don't! You will get pissed and frustrated, if not left empty-handed. Search the news for their people in jail and how they run the scam.
