Please never book through this company. We traveled across the country to whistler BC for a vacation with another couple. There was a traffic accident on the way up the mountain so we arrived very late. We called first and the rental place said they would wait for us to arrive. We arrived in a blizzard tired and cold. No one was at the rental and I one answered the phone. We almost slept in the car. Finally the Hilton had one room for 1,000usd. We arrived at the rental place in the morning after having to move all of our stuff out of the hilton. We expected to be skiing by now but the nightmare continued. The rental place had no record of flipkey ever booking or reservation. Of corse we had all of our receipts and confirmations. The rental place and me and 3 friends couldn’t even get someone on the phone from flipkey as we sat in tears with no where to stay, and very far from home. Thank god for Whiski Jack rentals who wouldn’t take our money and found a room that was very small and not in the village but at least we could rest there. We booked a room initially in the whistler village, and this rental, although we were grateful, was very far from the village and made it so we couldn’t go to any bars or restaurants the entire trip. Whiski jack did all of the work just to make sure we could ski and have a little fun but it was all very scary and heartbreaking. Now, flipkey has contacted us via email and only offered to refund us for the Hilton stay and almost nothing more even though we stayed in a much cheaper room and the contract states thy would pay for equal or more value. No one has called only emailed. This is the worst company and worst vacation I have ever experienced. We payed 1400usd and we’re left wondering if we would sleep in our car. They stole this money from us! What a nightmare. We will be disputing the charge on PayPal and if needed creating a lawsuit. Don’t ever book through trip advisor, flip key, or vacay homes!
