I had an echo endoscopy of my heart and I was supposed to be under "twilight" they administered the meds, but I told them I was wide awake I was told I had enough it would kick in. well it never did I felt everything and saw everything. I started gurgling and thrashing two nurses held me down. I received a bruise on my inner knee because of them. I felt all the pain in my esophagus and heart from the probe. The nurse had the nerve to say that I kept dozing, um no i was closing my eyes to block the image of a wand down my throat and you guys holding me still. I never will forget the gurgling sounds, I was in shock when my husband came to get me I was afraid to speak up. I never did fall asleep till that night and that was with a xanax to calm me down.
