Ultimate Granite The Villages review PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW ! I purchased new counter tops in October 2018. We were told at the time of purchase, one of the slabs was on the truck when the truck was involved in a minor accident and that any blemishes would be removed when the slab was prepped for install. 2 days after install I realized how messed up they really were. After making a phone call to Ultimate Granite and speaking with Manager, he sent their repair guy out to “buff” them. After four different visits over the next four months from their repair guy he was unable to get it finished. He also buffed the counters down to natural stone and left me with zero finish on my counters. After going back into the store and speaking with the owner himself. He assured me that another guy who is specially trained out of Orlando could help me. Several times people never showed up including the owner and the manager. I have several screenshots of text messages to prove this) A total of seven visits was actually attempted to fix my granite. Which have left me with nothing but a train wreck. I have “wavy, dull, and chipped counters. I have messages from everyone in that store assuring me they can fix it. It’s now six and a half months later and the store owner doesn’t want to deal with me. The owner sent me to his other store in Ocala named Stonerise to deal with The manager who assured me he would take care of me. After two months of failed attempts from him I still don’t have a resolution. I actually have text messages from him as well telling me he understands he let me down and begging me for another chance. They did however find another slab and I agreed to take a look at it to have them replace it however , it honestly looks worse than what I have. I have sent the owner text messages begging for him to come out to see my kitchen and no one in upper management including the owner has shown up. If anyone would like to see the text message where the owner called me a pain in the *** I would be happy to show it. I will be posting those on other sites. All I ask is for a refund or my counters to be redone. I am tired of the fight. I have kept this off of social media for 6 1/2 months now just begging for them to fix it. I would not recommend Ultimate Granite nor their sister company Stonerise in Ocala. As of Monday they agreed to give me a refund and to remove their granite (per verbal agreement with the manager) if I would sign a *** order saying I would never take it to social media or any other platform ( which I originally had no intention of ). At first, I didn’t agree but when I realized that they had me and that’s the only way I would get my refund I agreed to sign, with a few stipulations. After a day and a half of waiting for this letter to be written ( by Ultimate Granite) lmI messaged them for an update only to find out they changed their minds AGAIN. I received a message saying that they would refund my money but would not be responsible for the removal of their countertops. (Which is not ok because I have to pay to have them taken out by the new company). I went into Ultimate Granite 20 minutes after getting the text not very happy because they keep changing their mind and I just want my money back. As I entered and see the owner, I spoke loud enough that other people could hear (I admit that) which in return the owner called the cops on me. What a jerk. All I wanted this whole time was to just have my money back for a horrible job. Here are pictures and lots of screens shots for all the broken promises from this useless business. So I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR HIS OTHER COMPANY STONERISE IN OCALA!
