Home town studios by red roof in denver took my money then wouldent give me a room.

I was scheduled to stay at the home town studios by Red Roof on Friday and Saturday night. When I arrived to check in at 3 pm I was told that the "system was down " therefore I could rot be given a room. I was pretty disappointed as my wife and I were expecting to be able to shower, change and use the bathroom at the very least before I had to go to my event in Denver. My wife had to end up changing in the car, and had to splash water on our face and use the bathroom at a local McDonalds. the front desk clerk was Very unprofessional as his response was "there is nothing I can do". We ended up having to leave all of our valuables in our car and uber to the event. when we returned at about midnight they still had not corrected there error and were refusing to honor their obligation to give us a room so we could sleep. we were forced to get a last min room in the only hotel that had availability on such short notice at a huge expense. not to mention the Uber ride back and forth to the new hotel. All and all the error on behalf of hometown studios by red roof in Denver ended up costing me over 300 additional dollars and a lot of lost time and frustration. I called their customer service who put me on hold for 45 min and then told me again that there is noting they can do. That seems to be their response for pretty much everything . I still haven't even received my refund for the 2 nights that I payed for and obviously did not utilize. Im my mind that is essentially stealing. I could not be any more disappointed
