Highly unethical promotion and marketing

1

Signed up for a season pass based on a 12+3 offer (pay for a year, when you cancel, membership is extended 3 months). Based on everything displayed, my understanding was that this 3 month extension would differ in no substantial way from the membership itself. I recently cancelled my membership and wanted to confirm my benefits would remain (like participating in the members-only "bring a friend for free" day and the like). This is the response I received. After multiple replies expressing how not okay this is, the only response I continued to receive is "we're sorry for the inconvenience". Like *** you are. You're happy you scammed me into signing up with a *** promotion. The cancellation portal is not linked with the Three free months which is why it is stating that the account will be canceled. The three free months promotion does not apply at the beginning of the membership. It is important to note that you receive the three bonus/free months at the very end of your Membership -- that is, immediately after your last paid month. Which means, for example, if you sign up for a Membership now and decide to cancel immediately after your minimum 12 month paid requirement, you would receive your free bonus months as months 13, 14, and 15 (you pay for month 1-12 and then you receive month 13-15 for free).
