Having the registration I purchased from Carvana in another person’s name

I've been in a horrendous accident in July of this year, having suffered a broken sternum among other things. Seven weeks into my long recovery, I purchased the same car that was totaled, a 2017 Buick Verano) I parked it in my garage and for a few weeks did not drive it, waiting for my recovery. That's when I discovered, to my horror, that the registration was not in my name, the car I paid cash for was registered to a person I did not know, making me believe I paid for a car that was technically not mine. I immediately contacted Carvana, I tried, but I've not been successful. Their customer service, after the initial purchase, was pretty terrible. I've been promised things would be fixed, I'd be getting a new temporary license with my name on, but nothing happened. I've spent hours on hold, "Sebastian", in the end would not answer my questions, I sent a letter to headquarters with one to the attention to one of their CEOs. And a complaint to Pissedconsumer.com, and that, I believe, did the trick. One day after expiration of the temporary permit, I received a call from Richard. He was very nice and very helpful because he fixed everything within one hour that late afternoon. I was able to print out the registration, which was in my name finally, also the license plate. The paperwork has been submitted to a third party who, after another review, would submit everything to the Motor Vehicle department for the title, registration and license plate. How long this will take, I don't know. Purchasing the car and having it delivered, was great. The registration was a nightmare. I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will turn out right in the end. Would I recommend Carvana? That's up to the buyer but I would suggest, before you decide, to read all of the reviews. Had I done this before the purchase, I might not have. In my opinion, they have some very incompetent people working for them, and these days everything is blamed on Covid.
