Haven’t been able to contact hotel even before check-in

Had Missed our flight Mon 7/10 due to my son having an allergic reaction to mediation (given by doc) tried to reschedule are arranged check in dates from 7/10-7/13 to 7/15-7/18 but could not contact The Red Roof Hotel (Booking.com as okay with the arrangements they just had to hear from the hotel) I tried to contact them repeatedly through that night along with later on the next early morning, still nothing.. Then goes through to what I thought was finally "The Hotel" nope it had been connected to the Red Roof Cust. Service # They tried to reach out and see if they could get through nothing User's recommendation: Always contact front desk of hotel before booking online!
