Hard to make a payment

I set up bill pay with my bank but it didnt go through. My bank mailed a cashiers check on my behalf &;;;;;;;;;;; First Progress said it was never received I ended up paying my bill with a customer service rep and it cost me an additional $10 AND a 10 day hold User's recommendation: Make sure to send your payment super early!
