Hard to get thru phone number

When I booked today, I couldn't change male to be female ( even my Plus profile is female ). I can't update first name with middle name. I tried to call US 4642 millions times, but never go thru. Tried the other US 800 number is totally dead. I tried managing booking, failed too. Very frustrated. Please contact me. User's recommendation: don't book it.
