Hand mixer plug does not work in Canada

I purchased a hand mixer Electric whisk 7 speed and was very disappointed that THE PLUG DOES NOT work in Canada so I cannot use it. I tried to get help from Walmart customer service and the supplier but nothing was resolved. Is this my loss? Please advise how I can return this item as I am very disappointed in how Walmart customer service has handled this matter. Its is not resolved and there is no follow up from Walmart. Thank you and hopefully I will be able to get a mixer that can actually work in Canada.
