This guesthouse boasts being 5 star, but it sadly lacks. We were very excited to stay in this unique styled guesthouse in Parys, only to find no showers in all rooms. I'm 8 months pregnant and it is quite uncomfortable to use a bath at this stage. However that being as it may, we were still wanting to make the best out of this stay. However what was really shocking is the water piping system seems to be linked to other guest rooms, thereby not allowing one to use the water if another guest has in use. We had to wait an 1hr on the night of arrival to fill a bath, and didn't end up using the bath on Sunday as we couldn't get any running hot water. We highlighted to the owner on the first day who elegantly dismissed us, and when we highlighted the same issue to the guesthouse manager the next day he insinuated we were lying and was extremely defensive, aggressive and unhelpful. I was so looking forward to this trip as a last babymoon, however it left a very sour taste in my mouth, with the poor service and having to pay a premium for less than a 5 star service and experience. It was truly disappointing!
