Case ID [3-06450****1411] Dear Google Nest Product Managers: I have had a case open since Oct 2020. I have had dozens of communications with your technical support help line folks as well as through Google Nest Facebook staff... and I have gotten zero help on this matter. As many have stated, Google Nest Cameras are NOT identifying "Persons" in clearly document cases. I have sent in over a dozen examples of screen captures and Nest Camera saved clips, showing an actual person going through the direct line of sight of several of my Nest Outdoor cameras and NOT identifying it as movement nor as a person. I am talking about a clear person, maybe 8-10 feet from the camera, and NOT identifying it as a person or even a movement. As many have stated, this started months ago. I have done everything that the support person has asked me to do. I get a reply that it has been escalated to the top tier technical team and that I will hear back from them within 3-4 days.... well, this has been going on since Oct 2020 and still no technical help or answers. It just shows that when Google buys a fine product like Nest, they ruin it so that it is a failed product. Nest was once the premiere camera in the market and they had exceptional customer support and exceptional technical support. That has totally deteriorated to a point where the product is not reliable and there is no customer support or technical support. Either fix the product and customer/technical support or disband the product! User's recommendation: Unless Google Nest Cameras start supporting their customers-dont buy!
