The GE Frig we purchased at the Glen Burnie Home Depot on JULY 30, 2021 was delivered Aug 14, 2021 with a broken COMPRESSOR (per the repair person (Scott)today Aug 31, 2021). Apparenly, the part that must be ordered and then delivered and the repair re-scheduling will take up to another month. In the mean time, my mom who is deathly sick, and my dad who is 80 are without a frig for anything including ICE that my dad must go to the store to purchase everyday. He must go up and down 15 foot of stairs everyday for my mom. They keep the ice in a cooler for her. THIS IS WRONG. My sister who is just 23 years old and who lives at home with mom and dad to provide all their care, called Home Depot immedately, just after delivery of the Frig of 8/14 to complain that the frig was not freezing ice. After trouble shooting by phone and a personal vist to the Glen Burnie Home Depot, she was directed to GE. Who fininally came today 8/31. They have now been WITHOUT a frig for over a month. Taking another month to repair this refrigerator is unexceptable. I dont care what GE policy is. THEY NEED TO GET THEM A NEW FRIG or MAKE THE REPAIR IMMEDATELY. We pruchased a new frig, We certainly dont need this agravation. G E Needs to make this right and do it NOW. Order # H2501-192658 Home Depot in Glen Burnie.
