My husband and I purchased a Andersen patio door from Home Depot in Levittown NY. The paint on the interior of the door is defective . You can take it off with your finger. We started by calling Andersen and were told the issue needed to be resolved by Home Depot because that's where it was ordered from. The customer service at Home Depot is awful. No one wants to help you with anything. They don't even pick the phone up. Finally after weeks of calling someone called us back saying that if we are willing to keep the doors Andersen will give us replacement panels. We agreed A few days later the same person called us back from Home Depot and told us that Andersen now says they will replace only one panel. This makes no sense because it is a 2 panel door and both are defective. I requested a full refund and was told by Home Depot that I can't get that even though I'm with in my 1 year warranty period. Very frustrating The door is an eyesore and and embarrassment. We have had Andersen products before and we're happy with them That's why we ordered this door but it is a disaster.
