Just like previous complaints here, SILV Communications called at my new business. They said they were from AT&T and that a mistake had been made and they needed to reconfirm my long distance carrier. I asked them several times if they were AT&T and they said yes. The long distance part of my phone bill should have been $40 from AT&T (flat rate bundle) but when I got the bill it listed SILV Communications as the carrier and the amount was $133. I called SILV [protected], Robin) and they said I needed to write a letter to Silv Communications, 3460 Wilshire Blvd, STE 1103, Los Angeles, CA 90010; this was the only way to dispute the charge. She then played a recording of the supposed transaction - the recording was some woman that sounded nothing like my voice - not even close! I laughed and told the lady nice try. Bottom line I am writing the letter and complaining to as many agencies as possible. If someone calls saying they are from a company, hang up and call the company directly - don't take their word for it.
