I have started wathcing the Food Network since my late wife died so that I can get some sort of cooking education as I have never cooked in my 69 years. A couple of shows that I have been watching lately is Chopped and Guy's Grocery Games. Interesting to say the least. However, the one thing that really bothers me is a trend I am seeing of late. All the winners seem to have to be in this order: Women of color Men of color White women and finally, bringing up the rear, white men. It does not matter have well the meals are cooked, this is the order of finish. My comment to you is: GROW SOME BALLS! Minoriities don't always have to finish first!!!
