I paid 944.00 deposit on a condo from Folly's Best Rentals in Folly Beach SC. I had to cancel the reservation because our house sale is scheduled to close the week of the scheduled vacation. I cancelled more than 2 months prior to our check. I was made to understand that I would be charged a 100 cancellation fee and half of the 944 dollar deposit. I thought that was a little steep! But I had misunderstood. Because I had cancelled less than 90 days before the scheduled vacation, Folly's Best Rentals is keeping the ENTIRE 944.00. This is outrageous and a total rip off. I am posting this complaint weekly on my Facebook page and tweeting it every week as well. I have filed complaint to with the BBB, and FTC. I have filed a complaint with travelocity (where I found the rental) and on the consumer voice website. I'm really furious about this. In all my years of vacation and travel, I've never had anything like this happen to me. Help me find other places to voice this complaint. Thanks.
