Flat out lied about the/delivery, costing me $400 shift at work

1

Couriers please stated delivery was attempted at 7.12am Friday 2nd. I was at home until 7.30am and no delivery was attempted at all (cctv can prove this). Called up at 11.30am and your customer service rep told me it would be redelivered before 5pm that day. I rejected a 12 hour shift at work to be home. As expected the redelivery did not happen. Turns out the delivery had been with Aus post since the Wednesday, so I don't know how couriers please could have attempted the delivery and then assured me they would redeliver it before 5pm. I was outright lied to and lost $400 in wages because of it. I have cctv, phone call history, email asking me to work on Friday which is rejected expecting the delivery to be made.
