Flat out lied about *all* of my doctors being in the “network”

1

I have Medicare and opted for a UHC Advantage plan offered through AARP. The sales rep blatantly lied about *all* of my doctors being in the "network". Based on that lie, I opted to purchase a dental rider. I found out after some work that my dentist wasn't in the network. I ended up paying out a small fortune. Lastly, I called to cancel the rider, and it was not cancelled until I placed a *second* call. User's recommendation: Look up *everything* before you buy. If you aren't savvy with a computer or insurance have someone help you. You will be stuck with that policy until Medicare open enrollment in October.
