Faulty card reader on register number one at the Family Dollar store on US hwy 550 in Cuba, NM

For the last 18 months the card reader on register one which is used the most does not work and ends up taking at least 5 to 8 minutes per transaction after trying all methods with the card reader. Dollar General just moved in about a half a mile from this Family Dollar location. I see a lot less customers at the Family Dollar now Dash The problem with the card reader is it just doesn't work! There are two other registers that are hardly ever ever used why can't they switch the card reader from register one and put it on register three? This is the most frustrating thing I have ever seen go on for such a long period of time without being addressed by the management or the corporation. It's absolutely ridiculous to add so much transaction time to every orderThat has a card! It's absolutely ridiculous and frustrating and if it's not fixed soon there will be a lot less customers at the Family Dollar with the dollar general having all of its registers and card readers working just fine.
