Faulty 8 GB Photostick

I plugged in my new 8 GB Photostick that was shipped directly from you. It took a long time to process my pictures: 2 hours before it was finally finished sorting. It indicated it had loaded 2236 pictures of the 3,000 + pictures from my laptop. It was set to eliminate duplicates. When I opened the pictures on the Photostick I found numerous pictures that are not mine (They are not on my computer.) And not only that, but it had not eliminated the duplicates that were on my computer, AND, somehow in some reverse process, duplicated at least half of the pictures on the computer. So, now I will need to go through all my pics and eliminate the unwanted duplicates. I am presuming that this Photostick was faulty from the gitgo, and someone returned it with some of their pics remaining on it. Then, it was reissued to me. Help me out here. Thanks, Ed
