Fantastic mechanical pencil – very bad erasure’s.

I was so fascinated with the 0.9 Bic mechanical pencil I bought 5 or 6 of them! I love the pencil and everything was fine "until" i tried using the erasure! The Smudge was so bad I couldn't read my corrections. Is there anything being done to correct this issue? User's recommendation: IF the smudge problem is corrected my recommendation is buy them.
