My husband had a major stroke March 1,2021. He was under a load and I contacted Landstar right away to get this load back to them. I talked to a Tonysha H******* and she said it needed to be towed. I asked would I be charged towing expenses and she said no. On June 3Rd our factoring company charged us $951.75 from a short paid load in January. After investigation I found out it was a towing expense Landstar took from a load 2 months previous. User's recommendation: Even if it’s a life or death situation get it in writing.
