Extensive drive-thru wait time

On Friday, July 16th, at 8:15 p.m. I pulled into the drive-thru line at the Clanton Whataburger (there were around 8 cars in the line at that time). I had my daughter with me and we waited patiently for about 20 minutes before we approached the speaker to order. After waiting 10-15 more minutes, we pulled to the window for our food. The young lady was very polite, but seemed to be extremely busy because she was taking the orders from the speaker and delivering the orders at the food window! She took my payment and handed us our two drinks...then, asked us to pull over to space number 1 to wait for our food! Let me add that we only ordered two of the combo meals, nothing special or out of the ordinary. However, trying to be nice, I pulled into the space to wait. After 15 more minutes, our order arrived at our car. In the end, we waited a total of 50 minutes for our "fast" food! In my opinion, this is beyond inefficient! Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have had this same experience at this particular Whataburger. If my girls were not huge fans of the food, I would never give them my business!
