Expired jerky a year before expiration date.

I went to the store, bought a bag of Jack Links jerky, and checked the expiration date. It was 10/21/2022. When I came home and opened the bag, it smelled awful. I looked in and saw that the jerky was all molded. I couldn't eat a single piece and had to throw it all away. User's recommendation: Make sure you check the jerky before eating it.
