Expiration of flight credit disagreement

During the COVID-19 pandemic. I booked two different trips for a family of six people. I was informed I had a year to use them my trips both were in October if 2020. I go to use my flight credit and Evelyn had me on the phone for an hour only to inform me my credit had expired! I spent nearly $4000.00 and I cant use go anywhere. I was under the impression that I had a year from the date of my trip.A good company would honor those flight credits. Better business bureau here I come!! Better business bureaus User's recommendation: Never trust Sun Country.
