Erroneous tagging of item

I have a parcel that was supposed to be delivered yesterday. However, there was no one who can receive it and I expected it to be delivered today since I know that items that were not successfully delivered, will have the chance to get it delivered the following day. But to my surprise, entrego texted me today that items are subjected to be returned to shopee. How come they could tag it as is when they only attempted to deliver it once? So unjust!
