Took my iphone in to get a new screen, two days after collecting the phone the screen went completely black, although the phone still worked. Apparently when they fitted the screen they hadn't attached a wire correctly – I ain't no engineer but wouldn't this be a basic thing to check, would a REAL professional miss this!! Took it back to the store and THREE weeks, yes THREE weeks, later I got it back. It went wrong again a week after collection with a loose screen, so I took it back only to be asked if I had dropped it, I hadn't by the way. A moody looking Irish man tried to fob me off saying no it's not a loose screen, it couldn't possibly be as they are glued and screwed in various places etc etc – when I told him to touch the screen his story changed, he then went on to say we can strip it but I can guarantee that it wasn't our workmanship (really!) and there will be a charge for us to do the work. I really couldn't be *** arguing with him after such a long time, so left the shop with the iphone in hand feeling completely ripped off. Now let's work this one out, I take it in with broken screen, two days later it goes blank, a week after collection (3 week wait remember) the screen is loose. Now really wouldn't any reputable company take it in without charge? If you have anything you need fixing DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Use a reputable dealer, at least there is some kind of warranty; their workmanship, after-care, general attitude and business sense is really really ***
