My driveway was paved and sealed by Spires in 2014 & 2016 respectively, and has developed extensive rust stains over the entire driveway. Besides unsightly, it will affect the re-sale value of our home. Bruce Hein, VP, states this can happen and he will do nothing about it. His response to my complaint was, "While these are primarily aesthetics the structural integrity has not been diminished. With this in mind, you could try to cover seal but the iron ore will reappear or the driveway could be overlay ( at the property owner expense (for materials and labor) but there is no guarantee that there will not be any rust marks that may occur." Please see attached pictures. The total cost was $8152, which includes the initial paving and sealing a year later.
